Stacy Bowker, NDDr. Bowker is the founder and owner of Snohomish Valley Holistic Medicine and provides Naturopathic Medical Services at her clinic in Snohomish. She began the clinic with a vision of offering an integrated healing environment where different types of practitioners could work cooperatively to help serve the health and wellness needs of the greater Snohomish area. To date, Dr. Bowker provides space for 5 other holistic practitioners and hopes to continue to offer a variety of services and choices for all who come to Snohomish Valley Holistic Medicine seeking better health. Dr. Bowker has been seeing patients at her practice in Snohomish for over seven years. She is a sought after speaker and has taught numerous community classes as well as led workshops for community groups involved in improving health and wellness at a community level. Dr. Bowker's clinical interests include pediatrics, diabetes, heart disease, obesity, and other chronic health conditions. Over the years, she has focused her continuing education on the areas of these clinical interests in order to provide the best, most up-to-date Naturopathic care for her patients. In addition to her private practice and community speaking, she served as a Board Member of the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians from 2007-2011 and continues to stay involved in committee work and legislative efforts. Dr. Bowker is also a professional member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the Pediatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians. In her free time, Dr. Bowker enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and their 2 dogs. She and her family are looking forward to the arrival of baby number two in January, 2012. Theresa Martez, ND, LMP
Dr. Theresa Martez is an enthusiastic and caring Naturopathic Physician whose goal is to provide the best healthcare possible through knowledge, communication, understanding, and genuine respect for her patients. She truly believes in Naturopathic Medicine and everything that it has to offer and hopes to have a good balance between that and conventional medicine. Dr. Martez is ready to see a wide variety of ailments in her family practice, and has special interests in Massage Therapy, Women’s Health, Homeopathy, Counseling, Weight Management, and Environmental Medicine. Charleen is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Massage Practitioner. Charleen has been treating patients since 2002, and has been practicing at Snohomish Valley Holistic Medicine in January, 2007. Charleen specializes in pain management and has experience treating a variety of common ailments. She has also taught at Ashmead School of Massage and may offer community classes in the near future. In addition to her qualifications and experience mentioned above, Charleen has also received additional training in Reiki, Cranial Sacral Therapy, and Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. Charleen enjoys spending time with family and friends when she's not busy treating patients. Gyda Harris, LMPOwner Gyda Harris is a licensed Massage therapist and Bowen therapist. She graduated from Ashmead College in November 1999 and has had a private practice ever since here in the Snohomish Valley. A year out of school Gyda discovered the powerful healing technique of Bowen Therapy and studied it for the next two years. Gyda specializes in Deep Tissue Massage and Injury Recovery. Gyda is dedicated to her community and is the Founder and President of a women’s group, Sisters of Snohomish (SoS) for the past five years, Supporting Community, Charity and Each Other. Her interest aside from work and SoS are Traveling, Gardening and spending time with her 3 adult children and granddaughter. Erin Alberda, LAcErin Alberda, LAc, earned her undergraduate degree in mathematical physics. Upon
graduation, she was awarded the prestigious Eugene Cota Robles fellowship to pursue doctoral studies in biomedical physics at the University of California at Los Angeles. While Erin had a strong interest in the field, she quickly realized her passions lie in working directly with patients. After a number of years working at a non-profit that provides physical and recreational therapy services to disabled children and adults, Erin returned to school in 2007 to pursue a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Bastyr University. Erin has also had additional training in pediatric acupuncture, including a preceptorship with the physicians and acupuncturists at Seattle Children’s Hospital, and will be incorporating this as part of her practice. In her free time, Erin is an active and avid equestrian, competing in dressage. |
