Meet the Doctor

Stacy M. Bowker, ND

Dr. Stacy Bowker is a 1999 graduate of Whitman College, where she took premedical courses and received her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. Having a passion for medicine, Dr. Bowker decided to find a job in the Healthcare Industry. After finishing her Bachelor's degree, Dr. Bowker spent one year working fulltime as a Healthcare Resource Representative at Evergreen Healthline, a department of Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland, WA. During that year, Dr. Bowker was involved in a phone-based disease management program that intensified her desire to learn and practice preventive and alternative medicine.

Dr. Bowker went back to school to study Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University, one of 6 accredited Naturopathic schools in North America. She continued to work part time at Evergreen Healthline, where her decision to become a Naturopathic Physician was constantly reinforced by the interactions she had with the community. In June of 2004, Dr. Bowker received her degree as a Naturopathic Doctor and after passing the national board exams, received her license in September of 2004.

Why start a practice in Snohomish? Dr. Bowker is a native of Snohomish and graduated from Snohomish High School in 1995. It seemed natural to start a practice in a familiar place and at the time the idea began (in 2000), there were no Naturopathic Doctors in Snohomish. Dr. Bowker founded Snohomish Valley Holistic Medicine with the hopes of it growing to accommodate a diverse offering of practitioners and services, and is proud to have achieved this goal so soon.

Dr. Bowker's clinical interests include disease management (specifically heart disease and adult onset Diabetes), physical medicine (including hydrotherapy and Naturopathic Manipulation), fatigue, allergies, weight loss, menopause, PMS, and much, much more...

In addition to her private practice, Dr. Bowker also serves on the Board of the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians and is a professional member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians.

Dr. Bowker's personal interests include spending time with family and friends, participating in church activities, reading, playing the piano, skiing, hiking, and camping. She currently resides in Woodinville with her husband, son, and dogs (Irish Water Spaniels named Whirly and Bedelia).
